Ballot entries for this game have now been suspended, after talks with SYP and Barnsley we have been successful in obtaining a further allocation.

Details of the sales schedule for this further allocation will be released early next week.

Have we shut West stand so stewards can steward the Away end to get more Fans in meaning more Income?

Hardly worth relocating 1000 fans just for that,so it`s a no from me.

Wouldn't surprise me, but it would be a very bad faith move to shaft our own supporters in favour of away fans

With out a doubt, they have managed to reduce the capacity of the ground & increase the income from the away end at the cost of 1000 loyal west stand season ticket holders, lied to about the stand & treated like crap

They're not really bothered which set of fans they're dealing with really. As long as they minimize costs and get money.....
Schopp out and I'm really starting to think board out too. Might be premature on the latter but I've not been inspired at all by them.

With only 1000 fans in there, mostly OAPs why would they need stewards anyway

I highlighted the bit that stands out to me in your post - I cant believe the bare faced contempt with which I am being treated

We gave Birmingham extra tickets on top of the original allocation without the need to pi55 of our own supporters.

I doubt that allocating some extra away tickets for the odd game was much of a factor in the decision to close the west stand.

That said, the treatment of the West Stand season ticket holders was unacceptable, regardless of what drove the decision

Are you sure? If Blunts get an extra 1000 that’ll be close on £30k. If it’s repeated half a dozen more times this season then it’s a tidy sum. Pretty sure that’s what’s behind it all.

But why now? If that was the main motivation they could have done it at the start of the season. The council have said they recommended a list of jobs the club get done on the 21st Sept. That’s more likely to be what triggered it, but they won’t have had the time to do it for the Forest or Millwall games.

But if that's the case, the stand is safe, they've timed this to coincide with the international break and the rationale offered by the club is incredibly disingenuous.
