Or Proclaimers. I've often hummed "I would walk five hundred miles" when attempting to get to the ground from town!
After passing 50 yrs of attending Oakwell am going for....... 10.000 Maniacs "Who knows where the time goes"
One of my favourite bands who for some reason I have never seen live. I did actually get tickets to see them once at the 02 in Leeds but on the day of the gig couldn’t find the tickets and never did, must have thrown them away by accident.
Seen them live a few times, one of my faves. Tim Burgess also did a grand job with his Twitter’Listening Parties’ during the various lockdowns/ restrictions of recent times. Got some real top performers involved, he’s clearly got massive respect from his peers. Seems a top man!
Same here. He did a set at The Union Chapel near highbury corner that I went to. Really good gig, but sitting on pews was a bit painful! The next time i went to that venue was for a wedding. Extremely different experiences!
The Doors - the End -seems apt I can think of a group of directors who should be shown the door and the end
I went to loch Lomand didn’t go knebworth as didnt have a ticket and didn’t want to risk not getting one down there. Turned out most my mates got em for a tenner and even a fiver those who waited longer. Touts had for too many to get rid of.
