As the current Mrs. DR had a subsequent engagement yesterday, I got a lift to the game from another Didcot Based ST holder and him son. His comment after the game was that when they scored he felt that we had only lost one point as by that stage we were unlikely to win the game. We really do have a problem in the final third. No one is capable of turning a defence and our passing is just not accurate enough around the opposition penalty area. I am sure that our coaching staff are aware of this and hopefully after the international break we will have better options available up front. Btw I went to the Prince of Wales by the station in Didcot on Thursday evening. The manager is from Jump.
Lol, that's one way to put a positive spin on it. Maybe next time if we lose three nil we could console ourselves with the fact that our goal difference didn't take as much of a hit as it would had the opposition scored all of their ten chances.
I said five minutes from time that the best we could hope for was a 0-0 because it was obvious we weren’t going to score. I could hardly be bothered when they got their goal. It was just…..meh! The good news for me is that I’m leaving the country on Tuesday and not back until mid-December. Maybe we’ll have a team by then?
According to Brittans interview on radio Sheffield they do little to no final third stuff in training so don't hold your breath.
Seems our Head Coach agrees with you “I think, after the last two games, it was so important for the lads that they saw that we can get a point.
I do! Not seen my house in Spain for six months. Need t check it’s ok and not covered in Volcanic ash that might have blown over
We have just had a season where passing accuracy didn't seem to matter. They may they have lost the knack assuming they had it in the first place.
I can give him a bit of final third stuff if wants. GET THE F U C K I N G BALL INTO THE BOX PAST THE FIRST DEFENDER! When you can do that, you can go on the radio and winge,,, with my personal blessing. AMEN.
