Whether Vic is good enough or not has been done to death on here but I do think that the constant criticism he gets along with Freiser and Odour is harsh. We certainly haven't seen the best of Woodrow this season although he showed the other night how dangerous he is in the box and that's where I'd like to see him play not out wide or deep.
They are though he's a real scapegoat and I feel for him abit least he gives his all which is more than some I've seen at oakwell over the years

Nobody is saying he doesn't. It's getting annoying that any objective statement is seen as criticism, betrayal. It's a football forum. Or are we just supposed to say everything is fine, the team is doing just great and is beyond question? If that's the case no one will ever be substituted or dropped. No one will ever be bought because the players we have are beyond compare. Acknowledging that Victor is an honest pro who works hard but who all evidence suggests has not and is not likely to prove a goalscorer is not making him a scapegoat.
Well it doesn't take Alex fergurson to see he isn't good enough for the championship I could have told you that last year. Odour isn't a forward, its debatable weather freiser is good enough for this league, Miller isn't good enough loaned out, schmidt loaned out, devante cole can't get a look in, gambled on iseka who can't get a game and olare who's injured long term. Infact the only striker we know can score goals at this level is cauley and your looking at 8/9 a season plus pens. So for me talk us through the summer recruitment Mr conway, over to you.
Read my other posts it doesn't take pep to tell us victor probably isn't good enough for this league we knew that last season, odour isn't a forward and won't score many, freiser won't be prolific and another who its debatable if he's good enough, schmidt loaned out, miller loaned out, Cole can't get a game, olare unfit then out long term with a back injury, iseka visa issues and then can't get a game. The only striker of championship quality we have is woodrow so maybe we should be pointing fingers at the recruitment over the summer instead of been on the players backs as soon as there brought on.

Woodrow is undoubtedly our main striker and probably paid as such. What are your thoughts on how he's doing and his threat in front of goal in open play?
Hes not been in top form for a while, hasn't necessarily been played as an out and out striker or given the sort of service to suit him. A combination of those things stretching back to last season and before.
I'm sure you have. I've made a similar point elsewhere. My issue is with statements suggesting that any discussion of players ' attributes on here is unacceptable.
Hard to tell whether it's form or tactics but our best chance of getting goals is through him, that's why I find it strange when all the chat is about Vic, Odour and Freiser who should essentially be the support act. Hopefully Schopp can find the answer tomorrow.
Hate our tactics me personally. Change formation ffs. Its having effecting all players including victor. I'll give victor that. He may not be good enough but he does try. He might lack confidence thanks to the hate he gets. Play woodrow in his normal striker position.
Schopp is correct in saying Adeboyejo could be more helpful by scoring more goals. Perfectly correct and factual. It would help! If anyone disagrees with that then I'm living in a parallel universe. It's the context that's not right though. He shouldn't have said that on a public forum. It's ill advised. He could have said that about Woodrow, Frieser, anybody. By singling Adeboyejo out he's undermining him. Not good. Not good for the player, not good for the team, not good for relationships in the dressing room. Bad management. It also says something about Schopp's selection process. If Adeboyejo isn't likely to score why play him? Schopp is a flop.
Our squad needs to have players who aren`t on a lot money wise to pay for those that are recruited on higher wages. That`s why we keep bringing players through from the academy.
