... to the slowest, most laboured, slow passing, no pressing, no width, no creativity team - in less than 4 months.

    Thanks Marcus.

I honestly don't think it's just down to him.

Exactly this why? Mr Conway needs to look at the product on display. Act now, don't run the risk of letting this get worse. Make a change now, get someone in for the international break.

So who is responsible for how we are playing?

No the players obviously need somebody in their faces day in day out drilling them and obviously now Val as gone they aren't getting that from Mr laid back Schop

It's sad and difficult to see what our identity is anymore. Still early days though.

It's on Schopp, he dictated the style.

Could or would Laumann be able to rally the dressing room and get us back to last seasons performances and tactics? Obviously minus Mowatt and Dike is a tough ask, but at least we'd be tougher to beat and play with more brains and energy.

Surely the players themselves and the fact we no longer have key personnel. A fair few went through the door in the summer in case you'd forgotten.

Exactly we played in the image of big Val last season and we had a presence on the pitch and a way of playing that teams struggled with but this season we have no identity at all.

If we'd won today we'd be around mid table and prepared to gloss over our weaknesses with the promise of better to come but not winning is becoming a bad habit and brings much closer scrutiny which Schopp has to take responsibility for.

We still press. But we also don’t kick the ball 60 yards at the first attempt which makes it increasingly difficult to impose a pressing style similar to what we’re used to.

Completely get comments around this, but we’ve got to acknowledge the changes in dynamic and style that make it really difficult to press like last season. Even more so when teams just defend and boot long.

That's true Helen. But in the great game of football snakes and ladders it's looking like my club landed on a snake's head. Again. Early days, but concerning nonetheless.

Players have to take some of the responsibility, no?

Yes, but they have to have a leader I’ll say it again good players do not turn crap over ten games. There is something wrong if it’s the manger get rid if it’s the way there being coached do something different ,get back to basics and keep it simple

This is an important factor and it's taken further away from last season's press system by the too slow transition. We don't have to hoof immediately, but we do have to play forward much faster than we are at the moment.
