As someone who has lived in Brizzle for a while, knows a few gas heads, and hates Joey Barton, I keep one eye on Rovers. I don't go on their forum too often but as they sink to 22nd in the league with a 3-1 home defeat to Leyton Orient I thought I'd see what they are saying. A fair few staying away now in protest, not wanting anything to do with the club while Barton is in charge. And who can blame them? What's that saying about one bad apple...? https://gasheads.org/thread/9532/barton-unfit-manage-bristol-rovers

I wonder what’s gone wrong? He seemed to be doing a decent job at Fleetwood but can’t seem to get anything out of Bristol Rovers.

    No sympathy for him anyway.

I think Bristol Rovers were on a bit of a downward spiral and needed someone with some positivity to come in and turn things around. Instead they got Joey Barton.
