    Sky news reporting Ronaldo debut against Newastle at weekend yet Remy Vita still awaiting permit to play. Doesn't this also apply to Christian Renaldo who signed for Man United?

    But that has no bearing on the time it takes to process the visa. Both players will have a governing body endorsement which guarantees a visa, but one takes longer than the other. Mmm...

    Paul Conway has said there's a disproportion between the time it takes for a PL club to get a visa, and our club. It's something he said he's got the lawyers involved over.

    Of course Cristiano Ronaldo, a multi-millionaire himself, being purchased by a football club worth billions is going to find it easier to get a visa. Especially when you consider the number of international appearances he has made, and the fact that he's lived in the UK for 6 years previously can only help. I'm sure he still has a house over here too.

    Conspiracy against little old us. We only signed the guy 2 mins before the deadline. Maybe utd applied for Ronaldo's visa when they entered negotiations, which if the press reports are correct, was at least a week before he signed.
