Truly frightening. It doesn't look good for him. It's great that he has values and cares about his colleagues and animals. However, there come's a point where you have to think about preserving your own existence.
If I was an ex British serviceman I’d be just as worried about what the Taliban would do to me before death as I would be death itself. I hope he gets out. I disagree with pretty much all of our interventions in the Middle East, but that doesn’t mean I think the Taliban are merciful peace givers. They’re brutal and not compatible with the modern world.
