Not producing a matchday programme this season - any other clubs doing the same ? (Also no cash transactions at FGR.)
Thought that was standard there anyway! And crap in a bucket so it can all be used as fertilizer to grow their veggie burger veggies.
It’s part of their sustainability drive as they strive to become zero emissions. Great initiative as always.
Poor going that. Shutting down a revenue stream when clubs are struggling more than ever due to covid and taking payment choice away from consumers. More eco friendly is cash than card payments. All businesses should offer cash or card as a payment option.
not sure! I know about FGR as I collect Firsts and Lasts Football Programmes and sent to FGR for a matchday programme v League newcomers Sutton. I guess the trend will be to do on-line programmes - (FGR did produce a hard copy team sheet.)
It is. Shame that the meat munchers see it as an opp to pour scorn on it and turn it into an anti-veggie thing, but it doesn’t surprise me unfortunately.
My lad queued up for ages got to front of food queue last night,no card payments,we are in dark ages at BFC,young uns don’t carry cash these days
Not just young uns I hardly ever spend cash either though I usually have a couple of tenners on me just in case. Think I have been to a bank machine once since Christmas
After all the toilet paper panic buying by the sheeple last year I set to work on my new invention - its called a"shitten", like a mitten, its a washable solution to your number 2s!
I don't see what the point of a programme is, any more. I've not bought one for bloody years. Same with the Chronicle. If we sign someone, sack someone, or sell someone, I will know about it through this board. I don't need to read about it days (Chronicle) or maybe weeks (programme) later.
