One more transfer window

If we get the recruitment right (just the attacking/front 3) in my opinion we’ll be well set for a real go at the top 6 places,perhaps this season is too soon,hopefully next season.

 

You think we need another forward? Really can't see that happening seeing as when all fit we have 6 or 7 to pick from already.
Reckon we need to strengthen at left back or in midfield as more of a priority.

 

Are you suggesting we need more strikers?

 

We could have already got the attacking area right (assuming the Belgium lads are real). Time will tell when / if they ever make an appearance. If styles is going to be played in centre midfield going forward, I agree with others that a decent option at left back / wing back is required. Other positions seem well covered.

 

If we buy another forward I'll be writing a strongly worded letter to my local MP.

 

Need a left back desperately.

 

Think the players we have need to gel into the style that the manager wants. What that style is I am unsure of at the moment but points wise cant grumble.

 

By the time we get to the next transfer window and this is purely my opinion,I believe the only area of the team which will need strengthening(a quality striker or 2).

The only striker at the minute proven at this level is Woodrow.Morris injured for how long and the rest are all unproven.

 

Id be tempted tonplay styles there again and put benson in the middle.

 

You’ll be waiting through a lot of transfer windows for us to buy a striker that is already proven at this level.

 

I’d say we need a LWB and another option in central midfield. Forwards we have to see what the new lads can do surely.

 

It was obviously to most on Saturday and certainly after Morris went off that we had very little to offer in attack.A left wing back is needed I agree but do we solve that problem by putting Styles back there? Which would lead to problems in middle with no bite in there,Benson,Palmer and Kane?

 

So we should buy more strikers before seeing what the three already bought can bring to the table?

We did look poor going forward on Saturday and losing Morris will be a big miss but there is a potential full attacking line that could come in and bang goals in. Until they have all played a few games, we don't know. Also, how much do you think championship ready strikers cost these days?

 

we have signed 3 forwards and not seen them play yet. Agreed we looked short on Saturday but most teams would with 4 forwards unavailable.

personally I think we should sign a CM and play Styles as LWB

 

Not sure about that tbh , forwards need service and there wasn’t much of that second half .
Not sure there were many chances missed especially second half more like few created .
We battled for midfield most of game and I’d suggest Coventry had the slight better creatively and defensively without hurting us too much .

 

Would play Styles there (LWB). We then have Oduor, J Williams and B Williams, and Kitching (potentially) as back up in that position. 5 LWBs. I think we're covered.

 

We had the one of the best left backs in the league last year.

 

We should in that case definitely buy 5 more.

 

Hope these new signings do well but apart from Helik and Styles i fear we’ll not score too many.
