Interesting read they seem to think more restrictions could be introduced through the season https://www.cu-fc.com/news/2021/july/club-statement/
Talks a lot of sense. I fully expect to be attending some games through the ballot and watching the rest on iFollow.
I have a family member who works in Colchester hospital. They're currently preparing for what they think will be a bad Winter.
If you are allowed iFollow. He seems to think the block on live streaming Saturday afternoon games will be back this season at least to start with Be interesting if we aren’t allowed to go to Cardiff and also banned from watching a live stream might provoke some discontent
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...s-reduce-tidal-waves-Covid-deaths-ripple.html " Our analysis reveals: During the winter wave, when daily cases were averaging what they are now, there were almost 27 times more Covid deaths each day and nine times more people in hospital; There are currently 125 patients on a ventilator for every 10,000 daily new infections, compared with 2,312 per 10,000 cases at the same point in the previous wave; People aged 54 and under account for 60 per cent of virus patients admitted to hospital in England during this wave, compared with just 22 per cent during the winter wave; Some 87.6 per cent of people have now received at least one dose of the vaccine, up from 28.9 per cent at the same time point in the winter wave." Plenty to be positive about and if being outside is better then as we get towards winter when it gets more windy shouldn't that be a good thing? If restrictions happen next season it would be very poor. I do think our own club are already worried as we usually have a couple of home friendlies and a open day.
As of the latest comms to us, we will be operating at full capacity and therefore iFollow coverage will revert to pre-COVID. Only overseas (and those using VPN's) supporters will have access to live streams during the Saturday afternoon window. But, based on the last 18 months, you have to be ready for it all to go to **** at some point. No idea what happens then. None of this is football or club's fault. But I don't really need to say that. We all know where the blame should end up. And I hope folk remember that whenever the next election is.
I’m not scaremongering here but please be careful . The stories my wife telling me when she comes home makes me shiver . COVID still exists and please be careful all.
The sadder part is it only takes 30 odd percent of them and the remaining 60 odd percent are stuck with the corrupt Tories for a further five years.
Know it’s not your fault but what about all the vulnerable who daren’t risk going out into crowds and we still don’t even know if we can go to Cardiff. I really think an option to stream games should have been made availlable at least at the moment.
