    Given that he finished 2nd in the league, and played European football at Rapid Vienna, he’s probably quite highly regarded among his countrymen. Looked awful for us through. Could be the worst downgrade since Carl Regan replaced John Curtis.

    Probably the biggest conclusion you can draw from this match is that sports scientists advise only 45 minutes of competitive football at this stage of the pre season.
