And conceded just 2 goals in the tournament, for a team that reaches the final, that’s some achievement
Southgate has done very well and proved me massively wrong for thinking he was just an FA yes man, but at the same time he ****** the order of the penalty takers up. I can point that out as a legitimate criticism without being a wife beater.
Except that tonight, Southgate was poor. The change in formation was one thing, but he then played Mount out of position to accommodate him. He sat back and didn’t make any changes when the equaliser was inevitable. Then he threw Rashford and sancho to the wolves. No stick for any players, but Southgate had a very poor night
