I wish him all the best, you've totally ignored the point i made or are you suggesting we all walk round in full surgeons kit to protect from coronavirus
I think non of us agree with that. It's where it may be socially responsible to do so is what we've largely discussed.
If I'm not legally required to do so I won't be wearing a mask. I am yet to see any evidence that anywhere what has had a mask mandate has seen a drop in cases as a result. Then we have the nonsense in pubs and restaurants where you have to put it on to go to.the toilet.
But just think how many lives have been saved by walking through the pub with a mask on to then take it off at your seat
If we do lift the mask mandate and the polls are right it should be very quiet out and about as people who don't think it's safe will presumably avoid all non essential places full of the selfish people.
Yes it is, Hospitals are still not accepting commercial companies and any patients and relatives of patients will still have to wear mask. In the NHS we know their will be a further wave from the end of September with Respiratory varients.
Every scientific study conducted indicates that wearing a mask makes transmitting Covid less likely. Yes it varies by mask type, and is more effective if it is the person infected who is wearing the mask, but until everyone who wants to be is jabbed, I'll be keeping mine on in enclosed public spaces.
