I scored a few like that. It was a more innocent, less complicated time..

Seems pretty cut and dry to me.

Certainly seems to me like a worse decision than the penalty.

Aren't they still a yard in front of the nearest England player(s) even after they've moved?

Didn't know this rule existed but makes sense! On second glance though, maybe there is a yard between the nearest England player in the wall (Kane?) and the Danish 'wall'. If you look at it the Danes are slightly in front of the English wall.

Edit: just seen @Metatarsal post lol

To be honest when i first understood that I'd never be @Mr C I took it far worse than you did. Got to admire you for that.

Isn't there a yard gap between our players and theirs in that photo?

I wasn’t bothered if we won or lost. As long as I scored. Probably the only thing I have in common with Boris Johnson.

I think you've completely misunderstood the tone of my replies. I'm really not in ny way trying to say anything negative about you. There's a running joke that Mr C is the greatest footballer to ever live. My replies are adding to that myth, no more no less. Genuinely sorry if you thought I was having a pop at you.
