Back 3, Walker 3rd centre half. Trippier in for Saka. We need to overload their midfield and wide areas. I saw enough last night with Italy that makes me think we can do em. Mount will be key between the lines. Man mark Immobile and take their pace Insigne out of the game. But we'll need to stretch em and run into space from the start. Spain in fairness schooled them last night, but they weren't ruthless enough.
I'd go same team. Italy play with attacking full backs, but still only play four at back. So I wouldn't think we need to change formation as we did against Germany.
We're going to have to be sharper than we were in the first half though. When the Italians get the ball they move quickly from the off. Having said that I think it will be a competitive match.
Any chance we could put out a team that scores two early goals then dominates possession for the rest of the match giving us a nice simple win with no heart stopping moments?
