What's the best piece of simple advice you ever received?

That sounds a sad thing to hear as advice, I'd reflect on that and be melancholy for years if that was said to me.

 

She wasn't very tolerant where I was concerned. I just had to get on with it buddy.
Am good at housework and I'm not too bad a cook either

 

First map reading tip is to learn the order of North East South West - easiest way to remember is "Never Ever Support Wednesday" - which is also the best piece of advice I've had - alongside "mek friends wi lads from Jump" when moving up to Wombwell High

 

To only worry about what you can change.

The actual phrase was “there’s enough **** happens without worrying about what you can’t change”

 

My mum always said "never trust a man whose eyes are too close together"

 

"If in doubt, just **** it!"

Can be used in loads and loads of situations...

 

Oh how I wish I'd had that advice when I was younger
