But we clearly haven’t stopped and the club have not announced that they’ve stopped. They announced what their intentions were. The fact that they’re still selling tickets predominantly in the very article that is being referenced here supersedes that. The idea that we’d have sold 15,000 if we were allowed is just laughable, because we haven’t stopped selling them and we’re at around 11,000 it seems.

Your bias against Paul Conway is affecting your judgement also. You’re desperate to make it his fault. Clearly it’s either not quite up to 11,000 or something has changed in the last 2 months. But the important thing is that the club are still selling tickets, so the notion that restrictions being lifted is needed to sell more is nonsense and that’s what I was calling out. It’s clearly just point scoring and trying to make out it’s another thing being stopped by covid restrictions to further DB’s agenda.

 

The only problem with that nonsense is that I don't think the club have done anything wrong and even if I did I certainly wouldn't be blaming Paul Conway for the wording of a random article on our website.

Since saying they would be capped 11,000 we haven't had another update. Maybe people have paid for a seat on the waiting list and will be given their money back if they cannot go. Maybe we have silently dropped the cap and will announce we have sold 13,000 next week.

What I was saying was that the club said they would stop at 11,000 the owner then said we're at 11,000. Dreamboy said we had stopped at 11,000.

I don't think anyone was lying, I think that stopping at 11,000 and Paul saying we were at 11,000 was coincidental (but not a surprise as it's the number they probably expected). I think dreamboy read the two things and assumed we'd stopped

Now the season tickets are sold they will allow big Val to come back for the players. Our leaders always put escape clauses in head coaches contracts. Why don't they put a clause in so they cannot come back for players, within say 12 months, but of course they wouldn't get any more pennies then
