After a bit of research, I think theses little beasties are Hairy/Sloe Shieldbugs.

This from Anglesey last week. Glow worm (honest) not seen one for over 10 years.

2021-06-19T16_04_42+01_00.JPEG Great year for Bee Orchids this year. They seem to be cropping up everywhere... And found a Pyramidal Orchid emerging today so fingers crossed they'll have a good season too.

I have a feeling the mid-Spring drought slowed grass growth and lead to more wildflowers establishing.

Don’t really go bird watching these days but we stumble around sunning ourselves and looking at plants, birds insects whatever… had a hell of a nature watch day at Newborough. C. 1000 Manx Shearwaters as close as I’ve ever seen, then ended the day watching an osprey unsuccessfully fishing. Got chased off by a pair of persistent oyster catchers. Great day.

Found a weird spider in the kitchen today. I'm not normally bothered about spiders, but looking at it, something primeval in me didn't like it.
Caught it, put it outside, and apparently it's a tube web spider. Nasty bite if they get you by all accounts, so my instinct was right.

Picture from the web, I didn't faff about photographing it.

Last time I saw one as evil looking as that, James Bond had to deal with it.
