No news either way, yet. "Informed decisions, on whether this friendly will be played in front of a reduced capacity, or open to home and away fans, will be made in due course." https://www.afcfylde.co.uk/coasters-to-host-barnsley-in-pre-season-friendly/
Brilliant boozer there called The Thatched House or something like that. Had to visit them with work a couple of times in a previous life to sort out their beer range, ordering, etc. Tiny little brewery on site in the pub garden. Also a Miller and Carter in case you've got to 'apologise' to anyone after the game or just fancy splashing out on a decent steak.
If you were giving directions to anyone in any area, Ben, I'm convinced you'd do it via pubs, "Turn left at the Red Lion, then right at the Dog And Duck"!
It's literally the only reason people befriend me. Without pubs, I have nothing. Other than Barnsley of course
Ben, these are in Poulton le Fylde, a fair way from AFC Fylde which is by jn 3 of M55 towards Kirkham. No notable boozers to speak of near the ground. The bar in the main stand is good but might not want away fans.
