They look very dangerous on the counter attack- when they play against some of the better sides they could rip them apart.
They do look good. Got a bit of a soft spot for them after watching football Italia every Sunday as a kid.
Got to agree to some extent that Italy look strong but in reflection I don't think they've really been tested by a strong team yet have they.. They seem well drilled seem fit and their midfield are prepared to run at defenders ...but theyve not really come up against any real quality as such That said I've enjoyed the games they've featured in....and they have played well who knows they might not have got out of second gear Maybe there's more to come from them so I'm not writing them off yet ...just enjoying the games and the individual work rate of certain players
Immobile should have had a hat trick but you cannot complain too much when a side has just won their tenth match to nill in a row.
They look very good but I'm not sure they've been challenged yet. Id back England to beat them and Belgium or France
I think it's between Italy and France. Best two sides I've seen. I don't think England have a prayer on what I've seen thus far. France and Italy know their best 11 and they play regardless of if they're fit or not ( Chellini). Southgate doesn't. He f c uk s about because he doesn't know his best team, just a system. ( Which I think is the right one). England need Kalvin Phillips to maintain the form he showed against Croatia for the duration of their participation otherwise they haven't a chance. (No midfield.)
