    The sad thing is, I suspect the media will pull its punches, dePfeffel will firstly hide, the daily media rounds will be full of evasion and lies and in a few weeks or so the far right party will get a poll bounce when restrictions are lifted.

    I am also, but if you look a bit deeper you could possibly see the greatest political move in modern history.
    The text was released about 20 minutes before PMQs. Could it be that Cummings gambled rightly that Starmer wouldn’t use the ammunition when questioning Johnson, attracting ridicule from his doubters, and thus damaging both men at the same time.

    Absolutely. Cummings is many things, daft isn’t one of them.

    He will have motives, and they’re probably not good.

    1. What prevents Johnson from just laughing this off in his usual buffoonish way?
    2. If you're Hancock (and provided these WhatsApp messages haven't been doctored) and you know your Prime Minister has voiced that opinion of you, do you just take that on the chin or do you walk?

    I really don't understand why people want to pretend we're going to have the remaining modest covid restrictions "for ever" It absolutely helps nobody.

    It will all end on 19th July, no doubt, 100% nailed on, complete freedom for all

    The raggy haired buffoon said so on national telly. So it must be true. Last delay, no more, we'll just make sure it's ok, July 19th will deffo be full freedom day.

    I truly believe that if he doesn't deliver people will end the lockdown themselves. Already where I live it's as though nothing ever happened. Local shops hardly anybody with a mask. Counted 5 out of 9 in the queue in front of me last night with no mask. 1 of 3 checkout people not wearing one. Walked back past 2 pubs with beer gardens full, loads in and no distancing at all, bunched together talking and laughing. Not a single mask. Bloke came out with a pint in each had so no table service there, again no mask.
    If you don't deliver this time Chief Clown, you'd better get ready!

    I can't be the only one wondering how we have someone working for the government, with access to the most sensitive information in the country who seemingly hasn't signed anything stopping him from sharing private sensitive work conversations with anyone he wants.

    While he's releasing things let's see him release ALL his WhatsApp conversations with hours from April last year.
