going o/t - what is the situation re organ donation - is it now assumed your organs can be used if you haven't specifically stated they can't be used on someone else ?
I suspect that the general voting public have no interest in such matters. Most of them just wanted to "take back control" last time out! You couldn't make it up!
No you are wrong. We make a fortune each month selling everyone's emails to spammers and dreamboy's thoughts on stuff to psychological research institutions
As long as I don’t get inundated with emails or texts for triple glazing or shares in a racehorse . I’ll know who to blame if I do.
Exactly this. Most people who opt out will do so for personal reasons but I don’t think it’ll have too much direct impact on each person individually. The main problem is the mass selling of the medical data of the population as a whole that gives insurance companies, big pharmaceuticals etc. far too much information to use to their advantage. Nowhere near enough people will opt out to make a dent in that.
The person in charge of Talk Talk when it had its huge data breach now wants to be Head of NHS. What could possibly go wrong?
I was at the ad agency that had the TalkTalk account. The whole thing was utterly depressing and the data breach wasn’t a surprise. Harding surrounded herself with the most useless people I’ve ever come across. They had only one aim. To make as much money as quickly as possible.
What is it with this fekin PM ? He just wants to put all the most useless people into the most important roles as he possibly can . It’s as if he’s paying back some kind of loyalty promises instead of doing the best for the country .
Doing the best for the country doesn’t come into it. Profit and power are the only considerations so she’d be an ideal choice.
