Greedy Greek sheffield is very good but more of a kebab style takeaway in some ways Quirky place but great food
Going to try this when we get a chance: Nikoz Greek and Mediterranean Restaurant Ossett (nikosrestaurant.co.uk) Heard very positive things about it....
...and another +1 for the Delphi. Looks very ordinary but the food and atmosphere in the evenings is superb!
Can't recommend Souvlaki in Leeds highly enough (although now called Tavernaki or something like that), just south of Millennium Square. Still feels like a proper little family taverna, and the food is sublime, it's almost always our go-to restaurant when we're in Leeds. Olive and Meze in Wakefield is always excellent too. We've heard good things about AZ (and another mediterranean place whose name escapes me) in Scarborough, and we're hoping to try both if (subject to the govt rediscovering the balls they were born with) we make it up there later this summer. Closer to home, we've always enjoyed both Pasha and Istanbul in t'tarn, though in view of the original question I appreciate my reply has 'gone too Turkish'.
Greedy Greek just off Eccy Road in Sheffield is Banging. They have a van at the Thornbridge brewery in Bakewell too! Lovely stuff.
I had another one in Sheffield fairly recently, but it was a takeaway so I'm not sure if it's a restaurant. It was alright, but I can't remember the name. Think it was in Walkley or Broomhill.
