    He played 40/46 Championship matches to help keep them up comfortably when they were seen as a relegation candidate.....

    He helped them to double figures worth of clean sheets including two over Bournemouth within three games. I am glad he's done well since leaving us and would expect a few other Championship clubs to be in for him.

    Suspect Luton may struggle next season if they don't retain or replace well.

    Collins, Bradley, Pearson, Tunnicliffe, LuaLua, Moncur, Cranie all out of contract. Not seen their full retained list yet... though at least the list of ex reds may well diminish somewhat!

    I look at that list and can't see why they weren't fighting relegation.

    Is it true Heckingbottom played him at right back rather than his preferred centre back position because he thought he was carrying too much timber and running up and down the line would lose him weight quicker?

    No. We had Pinnock and Lindsay, who were the preferred CB pairing, so Pearson struggled to get a game as backup

    He was backup as well wasn't he.... further down the pecking order than Pearson iirc

    Pinnock hardly got a game under hecky he preffered lindsay, Angus and Adam Jackson over pinnock

    You're right. Pinnock didn't become 1st choice until the L1 season with Stendel

    No it’s because we had Lindsay, Pinnock, Angus & Jackson at centre back & if I remember right we were pretty short at full back with Yiadom missing the first couple of months of the season after a shoulder op.
