I'm arriving in front of the TV at 8.15pm - unless someone wants to put on some pre match entertainment on in Doduth -then I'll have no problem arriving an hour earlier.
I've got into the routine of watching any sky/red button game just after the event. So i'll keep that trend going. Record it, wait til the other half goes to bed and then watch it. Its still like watching it live as I won't know the score, but I can fast forward through half time and any of the build up which seems dull.
The last year has been bizarre as f***. As most people who know me know, I was against most of the rules/laws/nonsense imposed on people in general. To then have to abide by a litany of silly rules to do my job the last nine months, it took some doing for me. My particular favourite was Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, seating us in the lower tier, but told to wear masks (it was outside), no desks for our laptop, or power source, and then it rained. Both in terms of liquid, and goals. For Chelsea. I've been to Cardiff where we were treated like escaped convicts, not visiting football club staff. And then Derby, straight after, where we were told masks weren't necessary and given an executive box to work from. It's been a year of absolute nonsense, from a COVID perspective. But, like the sheep that we are, we crack on don't we?
Going back to the OP, I have to say, I always like to hear, the Boys are back in town at the start of a season after a long time away* * That said, my musical knowledge is nil so my point if probably worthless.
Going forward I suggest adding the digital ticket option for season tickets. Much easier to add to it my Google pay wallet.
Beth assures me that moving forward, she intends to issue digital season tickets, but you'll still receive a physical card too, to suit all comers.
Ideally as a group, purely for seat access purposes to reduce the occasions people need to pass each other. However, where not possible, everyone will be admitted individually. Beth should sign up this forum.
Sounds perfect, I'm sure she'll sort it. Haha I'm sure she's busy enough! We know you just pretend to be busy in between filming the lads before and after the game! Thanks for the info, I asked as one of our group can't make our entrance time so we were unsure if it were better to let them come late or all come late. I can imagine it's busy enough arranging a football match without all this extra grief.
