I've been a speed typist for many years (50 or so) and I can honestly say that my handwriting is terrible. MInd you, it always was but now I can barely string two words together with a pen in my hand. This posting, on the other hand, takes me about a minute to type. So, on that basis, I would say that kids will grow up never knowing what a pen is, never mind using one.
My comment was tongue-in-cheek and I realise it's the best thing in this situation (and that BFC have made provision for alternatives). But, as you concur, internet access is not universal.
I think there needs to be a balance. Writing is a skill, like typing, and should be retained. I'm currently prepping for a job interview and have handwritten it as I find I remember things better when they're written down. When everything is on a screen things tend to blur. Just my experience.
ooooooh. but what about the energy consumption of the cloud data centre sir, that hosts the service that generates said e-ticket? just thought I'd throw that in, ruin your vegan lunch
I won't have a season ticket until we have a proper English manager and play 4-4-2 with all English players. Yours in fascism, A Brexit Party voter
You're right! I was talking hypothetically I think personally some of these green initiatives are deeply flawed. The impact of having wifi everywhere - who knows what damage it does?! I've heard about the consumption of things like bitcoin too, huge!
If I didn't have a Season Ticket I'd just assume that I'd be granted entrance and the club would be grateful that I'd deemed them worthy of my valuable time. Constituency Labour Parties in 'the North'
If I had a Sheffield Wednesday season ticket then I'd ignore everything wrong that they've done and all the rules they've broken. I'd then renew my Wednesday season ticket despite all this evidence, and when questioned about it I'd just laugh and say that all the clubs round here are as bad as each other and that Chansiri is just doing his best. I'd then say that I prefer League One anyway, because the Championship is full of unelected bureaucrats. Relegation means relegation.
I won’t have a season ticket until our team is comprised of only central defenders, central midfielders and centre forwards, no wingers or wing backs. Yours centrally, a Lib Dem voter
Until we go back to the halcyon days of journeymen signings, proper full backs like Paul Gibb, and scouting done right with not a spreadsheet to be seen. I won't be attending any Playoff games. Yours with a screw loose, A Monster Raving Loony Party Voter
If we're going Monster Raving Loony Party, I demand Keith Hill at Left Wing Back. And Brek Shea as Support Liason Officer.
Until the club becomes independent from the UK, and I can learn how to submit paperwork in time and with the correct information, then I won’t be entering any ballot. Signed, me (and my whippet), a Northern Independence Party voter.
