Forget Wednesday, Rotherham and WRDCFC. Forget the meaningless end of season games. Forget the ESL. Forget the political landscape, the pandemic, the cryptocurrency, the garden wildlife, the cat, the dog. It's about us now. Play-offs. Time to refocus. Bring it on. You Reds!
Just enjoying the Wendies woes for tonight. I'm getting a bit nervous about the games we've got coming in all honesty.
Whatever happens, I just hope we, as Reds' fans, do not lose sight of the fact that even reaching the Play offs has been a monumental achievement far in excess of what we could have hoped for. I know, having come so far, it would be a bitter disappointment to fall at the final hurdle but hope that, should we not get promotion, NO-ONE starts posting negatives. I know the vast majority won't but still...one or two might 'have a go'. IF we DO get promoted and 'do a Sheffield Utd' and get pasted most weeks, again, I hope people support teh young team, enjoy the spectacle of seeing the best the PL has to offer turning up at Oakwell every couple of weeks and revel in the comparative financial security and stability that promotion brings whichever Division we end up in. Negatives of promotion are watching the Prima Donnas 'professional divers' and VAR fiascos each week although I think we could all live with that given the positives! UREDS!!!!
