    I was just thinking, I wonder if there are any Wednesday Players who have dreams and aspirations about joining a progressive and successful club, well like, Barnsley. Or, are they simply realists who accept that they are just L1 players? Just thinking?

    That Urhoghide at centre half is decent. Only broke into the team under Darren Moore and out of contract in the summer.

    Well there's about 15 to choose from who will be leaving after today. How they are going to recruit a squad for next season God only knows. Wages not getting paid, vastly reduced income, hardly any TV money, £5 million a season ground rent starts.

    I'm sure Val could polish the most unlikely turds but there are more appealing targets elsewhere, even at Rotherham and Wycombe.
