    I voted for him as fans player of the year but I have a feeling that Helik will win that.

    There's a valid debate about whether or not he was our best player as there are plenty of very good candidates. But he was definitely our most inspirational player, leading by example with his astonishing work rate. Bloke of the year as it were. I think this award highlights that.

    Well done Alex. It shows how much those who see him day in day out respect him. Now for him to join the two man club with my all time favourite Barnsley player :) Well done to Helik and Andersen too for coming 2nd and 3rd. All three have had a brilliant season.
