Well, interesting to me anyway. I think the side is better suited to playing Brentford than Swansea. We could only possibly get Swansea if Bournemouth don’t beat Stoke and we beat Norwich. That scenario isn’t massively likely and would lead to us finishing fifth, Swansea fourth and playing eachother - but if they’d prefer Brentford over two legs, (I think most of us believe that to be the better option, even if still second favourites), do they actually want to win next week just in case? We are most likely to finish sixth now regardless, but the only chance that doesn’t happen is if we win and Bournemouth lose - and would it be in the club’s best interest to do that? If it was me, I’d rest a few against Norwich and take whatever comes. They’re champions, can’t get 100 points or set any records, so they have nothing really to motivate them whatsoever so could rest a few too, or at least not quite be at it.
Dike aint played against Swansea yet and Morris hed haif an hour in the home game, we created more chances in both games but failed to take our chances, Swansea made fewer but were far more clinical. Oakwell Sollbauer owd manned and a Adeboyejo o.g.
I don't think we are better suited to playing any of the three with us in the play offs unless we up our game from how we've played recently. Just hoping we are leaving something left in the tank for when it matters most.
