    When I was a wee bairn had a thing about collecting those car sales pamphlets on individual cars...
    One day, I rang Cowies making out I was an interested buyer and could I have a bit of bum fluff on the XJS. Lo and behold; instead of posting out the info they turned up outside my parents in an XJS for a test run.... I was aged 13 at the time.
    The salesman saw the funny side of it, even calming down my old folks, and then took me for a spin nonetheless. Always respected his attitude throughout my life and, several years later, what he said did eventually lead to me buying a Jag.
    Now there's customer relations at it's best.

    The club expressing doubts about signing Chris Lumsdon permanently didn't go down well so eventually we signed him and it turned out that the club were actually right and signing him permanently was not a very good idea.

    I was in the West stand lower that day all the cushions came raining down from the posh seats. Think that was the last staw for Iley and the cushions never came out again.
