I predicted we'd finish 16th, shows how little I know about football. However, we're 5th, in the Play Offs and we've still loads of folk complaining about our players, coaching staff, the lot! The worst that can happen is we fail to finish in the top six. The best is promotion. Are things really that bad?
There aren't that many complaining . I can see lots of disappointed people due to not having taken 3 points. I can see quite a few analysing why. I can see plenty being honest and thinking a point was about right tonight. Things are great in terms of where we are in the league. If that is what football is supposed to be about. You predicted Reading for the drop. They were a clever tricky team though. At the end of the day nobody will be complaining - we're already safe for next year. Things really aren't that bad.
I did, yes. Then again, I've always admitted I know nothing about football. But at least I know I know nothing about football. How our Head Coach has managed to get us up into 5th place with such a shower of useless players I simply don't know.
Magic is how he's done it. We ran em to death eventually tonight. Barnsley Athletic. Styles was superb tonight. Andersen and Britain not so. The rest was down to the coach. These players are smart and committed. We knocked it about under Stendel and Struber. It's still in their genes when we get to attack in their third. Who's next? Luton?
On Monday. I keep thinking today's Saturday. Which proves my mind's going and I'm not a very good Catholic!
My wife did me a lovely shellfish platter for my tea. Which simply shows Crystal has a better memory than me!
I do recall. I also recall in January I called it that we could make the play offs, all we needed was a kick ass striker. WE signed two. Please be aware the play offs are a one in 4 chance though, but at least we have a lottery ticket atm.
