Worth a watch. Also in his comments below the video he admits the play acting after Mowatt's tackle was a disgrace.
After what Conor did against Peterborough at home a few years ago to get that lad sent off we can never complain about opposing teams play acting
Or any of the ‘gamesmanship’ from our players, every game. I can point to half a dozen incidents every game, that I wouldn’t be happy about if it was the other team.
Needs to get those rose tinted glasses sorted. Couldn't see anything for the pen and dangerous tackle for the red card, hope he's changed his mind after watching Quest.
How far do we have to go back before the slate is wiped clean ? Conors actions 4/5 years ago does not excuse the Wycombe players the other night , their reactions were as a group & obviously planned to react like that given any opportunity , they collectively were a disgrace.
We're all hypocritical in the moment but I do try and reflect afterwards that every clubs players cheat.
The problem is, last year we didn’t do the gamesmanship until we got to the end of the season. One of the reasons our pretty football was ineffective was because other teams would use such tactics against us. It’s happened a couple of times this year, Cardiff being one that comes to mind. Until we started to play them at their own game, we weren’t going to get anywhere. At this level fine margins count, and when other teams are gaining an advantage by such methods we also need to address it. Unfortunately until new rules come into place, it is part of the modern game.
Very respectful man, makes a change from the usual tripe we get from other supporters when we beat them. Well said Sir.
Fair play to him, but he trips himself up a bit for me in needing to see the penalty incident again in Quest before being sure, yet he was quick to make a judgement on Mowatts challenge. Other than that, very complementary. Top man!
Sorry, but I simply don't see the 'shithousery' that some are claiming we perform. We definitely don't act like Wycombe have done twice this season. I don't believe I'm viewing our games through rose tinted spectacles, either. I'm definitely enjoying watching our best season for 21 years at this level. I'm definitely enjoying watching our young team giving 100% every match from the first minute to the last. I'm definitely enjoying watching the football instigated by our superb Head Coach. Perhaps I'm not a pure fan, insisting we play like Manchester City or Barcelona, with the attitude of the Corinthian Casuals..
