    Actually thought he was half decent for us. Can remember a cracking goal where he ran half the length of the pitch with the ball. Good luck to him.

    He was a lovely guy with a good head on his shoulders as well as being a half decent player so good luck to him.

    Always saw him as a silky skilled player. One of those who could make the game look easy when he was on song.

    I thought he'd gone into sports journalism before that. Writes very well, always came across as highly articulate and intelligent. Liked him as a player too. One of the few bright lights in an absolutely awful period of our recent history.
