A few candidates. All the three subs (eligible for this vote who came on at half time) changed the game so they all came close - but I went for Brittain. Mr consistent - not necessarily the best full back defensively, not always the best crosser of a ball and certainly not finisher - but always covering back, always seems to be there when getting forward, sharp pace from a standing start to beat a man, great first touch most of the time, links up with the forwards brilliantly and frightens the opposition left backs to death. Signing of the season (of players at least...) - and we signed Helik and Morris this season too so that’s some statement.
A number of candidates for me which is a great thing but went for Mowatt with his usual never say die performance, but his set plays were superb & provided real quality when it mattered with his ball in for the winner .
Woodrow for me, did a lot of the dirty work in that second half that allowed us to press Bournemouth continually and their defence could never settle because of it. There were contributions for many players, the save that Collins made tipping the volley onto the bar, the block from Helik, kept us in the game, Styles was excellent, Mowatt too.
Almost 100 voted in this poll, I'll bet that's a record. And the top 3 currently separated by a single vote.
Agreed Archey. I went for Helik, but could quite easily have gone for Mads, Mowatt, Woodrow, Frieser or Styles
