Since national exposure on the BBC against Chelsea in the FA cup when neutrals were praising us left right and centre and yet here we are 2 months on 11 league games unbeaten 6th in the Championship yet now we are just a physical long ball team to those we have beaten along the way.
Just like when we were in the premier league, they loved us and patted us on the head until we started beating them. Long may it continue
I dislike us. I'm extremely trendy and wear Bermuda shorts, a panama hat and smoke expensive cigarettes using a holder. Edit: They can all ********
When other team, players, managers, fans, pundits are talking about us the i THINK we must be doing something right. If managers and fans find weak excuses to pull us down and criticise then i KNOW we are doing something right.
Managers might be different...... but the overwhelming view on social media from opposition fans is admiration. Even Wednesday fans hoping we go up ......
Mowatts take on moaning managers https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/spo...watt-laughs-off-criticism-from-rivals-3164762
Tbf it seems to be a few opposition managers and players that are having a moan. Every pundit I’ve seen have been extremely complimentary about the whole club.
Don't give a ****. Some of these managers with multi million pound players at their disposal thinking the top 6 was a given and they are failing. Trying to take the pressure off themselves and in the process belittling little old Barnsley. I think big Val loves it, keep the criticism coming as it will just make everyone more determined to give these lot the middle finger when we make it to the play offs
Opposition managers definitely preferred the Barnsley that had a good amount of possession, played nice, expansive football ,,,, and then lost!
I see a mixture tbf. Some see us for what we are, a team doing really well with one of the smallest budgets, a great manager and young squad. Others use our style as an excuse for them not being good enough to beat us on the day.
We've upset the apple cart haven't we? The big teams that are now skint Derby, Boro, Pigs etc... now playing us on a level playing field and they don't like it. Imagine us all with the same budget, we would wipe the floor with this league.
There's a very complimentary thread about us on the Norwich City forum. Barring the OP who suggests our bubble burst after Drawing with Derby (despite us being unbeaten in 10).
I'm not so sure about that GO, by that I mean having a budget of £100 million is no guarantee of success, as Bournemouth (and Sheff Utd) have found out. I think that if we had £100 million to spend, VI wouldn't spend it on the fancy dan over hyped players around these days. He wants young, hungry, team players who listen to what he says and play with a mixture of style and intensity. And they needn't cost a lot of money. Paying 20 million for a player is just ludicrous, look at how Billing and McBurnie have bombed It's all about the manager for me.
Oh for Christ’s sake, let’s not start singing that god awful ‘no one likes us’ song the millwall lot have...
