I think the lads have looked tired these last two games and fear that Bournemouth, who had no midweek match, will make their extra freshness count and beat us 2-0. Like everyone else on here, I am fervently hoping that I turn out to be wrong. A win would be a fantastic result for us, and a draw would be a good one.
We are one of the games in Sky Sports Super 6 this weekend. If reports are true that Bournemouth have injuries to key players, I've gone for a 1-1 draw.
2-0 Bournemouth unfortunately. We're absolutely knackered, and understandably so. Them not having a game midweek will be key.
Completely agree. We were also convincingly beaten by Cardiff around that time. We were a different proposition all together in the return fixture.
I’d love us to win of course - though I’d take a point all day long. But as plenty have eluded to, we are looking leggy, they haven’t had a midweek game, and it is in all fairness a much bigger game for them than us comparing the run-ins. 2-0 Bournemouth. Sincerely hope I’m wrong, but I wouldn’t be manning any panic stations should we be beaten today.
Bournemouth know how to beat us, yes we are on a great run but as been said, we looked exhausted on Wednesday, heavy pitches have taken their toll, the high press is draining and I think the schedule lately will catch up with us. Heart says 2-0 to Reds Head says 3-0 to Cherries Whatever the result we have had a great season to date, are in the top 6, safe from the usual relegation struggles, and there are plenty of games to go.
I see Bournemouth have Swansea next and are already talking about it in a similar way to the way we said ‘beat Derby and we have a cushion at Bournemouth’ Pressures all on them today. Cardiff v Watford as well. If they handled pressure well they would be further up the table.
