What’s John Stones doing scoring goals? He’s no reight to be scoring goals. His job’s to stop at the back and booit it into’t stand. Defenders’ll start thinking they’re footballers next. Absolute disgrace. Don’t pick him for England.

Don't forget, he learned that class and that ability to score goals at Oakwell.

John Stones is a better footballer than some playmakers to be fair. Got good at defending as well now. It helps that he's got a world class centre half next to him, but he's certainly playing the best football of his career at the minute.

Made me laugh reading their local press and Twitter. The Barnsley Batistuta, The Barnsley Beckenbauer and The Barnsley Balottelli all used today

Really chuffed for him, it really irks me though when you hear commentators such as Martin Tyler talking over a pin- point long cross-field pass he’s made, with comments about past errors and possible future ones. Yet Maguire get’s hardly anything by comparison when he makes a mistake.

Just stated on MOTD, that for today's game against West Ham, the value
of City's substitutes, excluding Foden who has come through the Academy
is circa £300 million. How on earth can the majority of teams compete with
    strength in depth like that.?

They don't. That's why they win the league every other year.
