Scart to HDMI

    I've got quite a few videos that I would like to watch, mainly the promotion season ones. Obviously I can't connect my old video recorder to my new smart tv. I know you can buy scart to HDMI connectors, question is do they work ok and does anybody have any recommendations for make, price etc.

    We tried a couple of weeks ago with a crap (cheap) USB to Scart. No good, so we tried the old White Red Yellow cable with slightly better results.
    In the end though we found an old Samsung telly in the loft with combined VCR and went back to traditional SCART to read old videos before chucking / keeping.
