    Just came to me. What point of the season did you feel like we have a chance of going up?

    I only started attending oakwell 5 years after that season because I moved here but never looked back ;)

    When we beat Sheff U, just before Xmas. I told mi Mam we're going up. I was right :)

    When Clint hit the 2nd.

    I was convinced that someone or something would do us over.

    Believed in the ability, but felt we were gunna get some rough decisions to conspire against us

    I think it was at easter, we played away at Reading and going back to the car after the match we heard Wolves had lost, a big cheer went up from our lot and it all got a bit giddy.

    I felt we were in with a shout quite early on, definitely by the Norwich match. We were playing such good football. Just that wobble near the end, when I worried the pressure was telling.

    Agree Tyke 67. As we filed out of Bramall Lane after our 1-0 win, I was really confident that
    we had a chance of promotion. Bought that nights Green 'Un which showed us top of the
    league and as we maintained our form and Wolves continued their slide on the run in I
    became convinced we could do it. I will never ever forget that last game against Bradford.
    It was a game that anyone lucky enough to have been there will recall, to their dying day.

    Walking out of the Hawthorne's after the opening day said we could go up, probably a lot of new season optimism and bravado but little did I know at time I'd be right

    Spent plenty of time down at Oakwell in pre season, told anyone who was willing to listen we had a great team.
    Bookies had us down for relegation, I knew we'd better the previous higher mid table finish.
    I knew we were in it during the November and December period. Tranmere, Southend and Portsmouth home games were good games. We got results on the road as well but once we went top for Christmas I knew we'd do it.
