Didn't even TRY to put it in off the right hand post.

I'll let him off though it would have been almost impossible through that ruck of players.

Definitely rushed his shot. With that set of dummies in red he could have taken the ball away from goal, quick pirouette on the edge of the area and then smashed it in off the right hand post. As per normal. Very disappointed seeing him poke it in from three feet....

    3 goals in 3 games .
I'm certain he deserves a start against Stoke city.
But our chief as an headache now with the extra quality up front.
But for me boss pick your best 3 to start not to come on later.

No plan B. The left hand post was gaping.

I think with VI's approach to rotation it is debatable if it's better he starts or comes on after 60, when legs are tiring. The later approach certainly seems to work better for Vic. Agreed it's a nice problem to have. I'd still quite like to see Odour on the left of the three, but with current form that ain't likely to happen anytime soon.

Lads on quest mentioned it. Think it was Dean Ashton who said he’d watched us V Blackburn and expected Morris to start after 2 in 2, but he conceded that big Val is getting the results as he sees fit.

Big difference between playing your most prolific 2 up front and using 5 or 6 strikers even when you’re not chasing a game.

Others will be doing it before long - I noticed Mark Watburton was talking about how they successfully used the high press v Bournemouth on Saturday.

As the primary job of the front 3 appears to be to close down and frustrate, then the first pick should be the fittest 3.

The goals will come, and it may be helping him that he’s playing against tired legs.

Im just happy we have a forward scoring regularly, if one of the others improves their strike rate we’ll be in clover.
