    Everyone struggled during his time at Oakwell. We were sh*t and on our way down.

    I always thought Wilks would come good though. I hope we ‘retained an interest’ in his future. I’m less convinced about Luke Thomas.

    Difficult to know whether he's good enough for the Championship or not as he didn't appear to try for us. Wasn't so much that he was crap, more that he couldn't be bothered.

    I think we wrote him off too soon unless we needed the money at the time of selling him.
    I'd like to have seen what big Val could have got out of him.

    I think Val would have made a real player out of him but I’m not remotely arsed, he’s gone, it’s done, and I’m very happy with the forwards we have at the club thank you very much.

    Not the right sort for our team - everyone has to be committed to the press under the last 3 coaches and he clearly didn’t want to or couldn’t implement the plan. Good luck to him but I don’t care how many goals he scores in league one or even the championship, he just doesn’t fit with us.
