    Just had a look at the official Facebook full time status for them and it's got well over 100 comments in less than ten minutes and one fan wants Mowbury gone as they shouldn't be losing to teams like Barnsley.

    Mate is a Blackburn fan. He wasn’t confident going into the game. But was very complementary after about our players, but wants Tony out... he thought they had no answer to us.

    According to Nixon on Twitter Mowbray has plenty of support from the owners and won’t be going anywhere anytime soon. Looks like they may be stuck with him for a while yet.

    Tony Mowbray has done wonders for them. Generally it's been with a decent style of football. Utter madness to let a few poor results cloud the big picture. I can't believe how short-term some fans actually are. I always remember a fan writing in to the Barnsley Chronicle calling for Danny Wilson to be sacked at the end of the season before we got into the Premier League.

    An aging side with no imagination. What did they expect? Big time losers still coasting on something that happened nearly 30 years ago..

    Just checked the Rovers forum. Some absolutely unbelievable comments. Talk about an overreaction! There's a whiff of entitlement from some that a playoff position is a minimum requirement. I like Rovers, but they're not Leeds, and certainly not a sleeping giant. Seem to remember they were in freefall before Mowbray arrived.

    I think the problem is that Mowbray could probably have achieved mid table on a fraction of the price. Brereton reported to cost £7m, Gallagher £5m, Downing on a big wage, Johnson on a big wage. one of the top scorers in the league, one of Liverpool's brightest prospects on loan. Yet for all that, they continue to follow the same pattern that they have done since getting back to this level. Get within touching distance of the play offs, then implode.

    Mowbray paid us the ultimate compliment of worrying more about us than themselves when preparing for the game. Changed the system, changed the style of play. But bizarrely, dropped the right back who had caused us a lot of problems in the reverse fixture so he could pick a loan player from City.

    The Venky's are putting millions in every year (just recently put another 7m in as a share issue), all for mid table Championship status. Puts how well we've done this season into perspective.
