I've never seen fans turn on a manager so quickly either. Get a grip. Yeah we're all gutted and yes I didn't like him after the 3-0 loss away at Cardiff but this squad needs breaking up. That isn't Val's fault. We have Walton, Sollbauer, Brittain, Styles, Mowatt and Woodrow. The rest are different shades of *****. Give him time.
Couldn’t disagree more. I’d love to see us play like Brazil but budget dictates. and Let’s face it their budget is much higher than ours and they played much worse than us!
Badger is just pointing out the difference in the football we now have adopted, as compared to how it was before Val came. It's not the results. Having said that, we seem to play a bit more football if the other side do too. How it will all end, nobody knows.
The OP has a valid point, if you look at tonight's game in isolation. In previous games, however, although we did still get the ball forward quickly, we also mixed it up a bit and played more football. Tonight our wing backs were mainly in defence mode and our midfield were bypassed for most of the game. All that said, tonight's tactics would have worked had we not been robbed by an inept referee. Hopefully we'll revert to playing more football in future games.
Awful to watch wasn’t it. We had no idea what to do late in and the manager has to take responsibility.
