    A true gentleman and in today's age of hero status going to reality stars film sport and television people this man stood head and shoulders above them all.
    Passed last evening after a long illness .
    RIP Tom , your duty done.

    I wonder if he ever served with Bob Midwood who had the sports shop in Barnsley and was one of the first to land behind German lines at D Day?
