It's just another "I'd better say something positive " statement by the Great Incompetent.

He really is useless. Incompetent or corrupt? Or both?

I believe the actual line wad
'looking at the potential of relaxing some measures' before mid-February.
Which apparently means mid February is when they were going to look at it not ease anything by.

They will wait until deaths fall into double figures again like last time. Then they won't consider the end of the cold and flu season like last time. The vaccine is the only way. They need to roll that out quicker but they won't because they have the power.

I can’t understand why people bother to listen to him anymore, and I certainly can’t understand why anybody would give credence to what he says. I gave up months ago when I realised he hadn’t got a clue.

I love pubs, footy and going out but there is nothing more important than getting the schools open - nothing. Everything needs to be geared up to delivering that goal imo.

Apart perhaps from over 1000 people a day dying from Covid-19.

?? Lockdowns are not introduced to end Covid - otherwise they would. They don't. That's not the purpose.

I think the post was suggesting the schools should take priority for opening back up before pubs and restaurants when the times come. Not sure what you thought it ment.

What’s funny in all this is all these private firms they got in to do stuff ****** it up. Let the NHS plan and distribute the Vaccine and it goes very well. There’s a lesson in that somewhere

Presumably we would come out of restrictions in the reverse order to which we entered them.

I'd like to see the vaccine rolled out quicker, the measures gotten rid of and people use the sense they were born with regarding mask wearing, shielding the vulnerable and social distancing.

Prior to that I'd develop a common sense o-meter. The lack of it is staggering.
