A few games ago there were some on here greedily eyeing the play offs and potential promotion. Now there are some suggesting we should look over our shoulders implying we are in a relegation scrap. The big picture for me over the last 18 months has been one of improvement. That's all. Very slow and frustrating (almost unproductive at Brentford last season) but improvement nonetheless. This with 3 managerial changes and arguably 3-4 different adaptations of playing style. The team as a whole is getting better and stronger over the long term irrespective of individual players' contributions. Let's see what the rest of January brings and then the summer transfer window and see where we are by August. I, for one, am not concerned by losing to Watford and Swansea (although I didn't see the hornets game). The team as a whole are not far behind teams like this now. It's always frustrating and cat-kickingly agitating when the team lose a few but stand back and look at the big picture over time. Don't be too quick to knee-jerk. Be patient.
Watford Swansea Bournemouth Brentford Norwich..... and room for one more in the six... we need another run.... its possible..
