Sounded like Wilder had been on the bottle in his interview during last nights match. Must have known what was coming!

I wanted them to suffer a proper morale-breaking defeat. Six, seven nil.

Hopefully it's around the corner in their next couple of away games - both Manchester clubs in quick succession.

I'd be happy with minus ten being added to their goal difference after those two fixtures. Here's hoping.

How is he even still in a job? Has he got something on the Owner?

I think its a welcome breath of fresh air to be fair. Hes done fantastic for them, as he did at his previous clubs. I think long term theyd be better keeping him, rather than replacing him now and whoever comes in leaves at end of season. Rebuild for next season. Id hope we would do that in a similar position

Might have to ditch him. I get what you're saying but that losing mentality can be difficult to shake.

I had a long discussion with a sheff utd supporter who proper laughed at me pre season when I suggested teams would have them worked out this season and they needed to strengthen deeper than they did. He just called me jealous and to trust in Wilder. Got a message from him the other day, admitting they didn't do enough.

So for Wilders future, I'd say if it was the owners dictating how much could be done in team strengthening or Wilder. If the latter, then ultimately he has failed tactically and should probably bite the bullet. I did find it strange their lack of transfer activity pre season.

But I'm not really concerned by their downfall tbh.

I think Norwich play better football and have a plan B. We saw the other night that brawn only gets you so far.

I agree, but I think the mentality Wilder and the team has mean they will go straight back up. But thing for me this season is the loss of Dean Henderson. I suppose he costs too much for them to have bought him.

This. As much as I can’t stand them, he’s done brilliantly everywhere he’s been. Managed to get them out of League One, where many managers had failed, then got them into the Premier League, against all odds, after two years in the Championship. Pre-lockdown, they were doing well in the league. The lack of fans, and Dean Henderson has affected them, in my opinion.

If it was us in their position, I’d be hoping we stuck with him. He’s their best bet of going straight back up.

A big loss. However, I think they've spent too much on mediocre players. Back end of last season I thought they'd been sussed out and thus far I've been proven right. It's Wilders job to adapt too.

I think the players are no where near their performance levels of last season , it’s more than ‘other teams have found them out ‘ , it’s a motivational problem and that’s down to Wilder

I agree. Norwich kept faith with Farke and look at them. Wilder can keep the basic squad together and they will have enough cash to invest in quality replacements for players who depart when they go down. I would think that their best bet is to keep faith with him and look to bounce straight back up with a refreshed squad.
