Definitely we've proved tonight whats our level and it certainly isn't top 10 sadly. Just get enough wins to stay up table ,that in its self will be an achievement.
Are you joking ? IF we don't stay up this season they want to sell Oakwell and call it a day. Its another defeat against another ex prem well established Championship team. We've been spoiled by beating lower end teams.
The only thing tonight proved is that we're not a top two side, even though Swansea were poor. Top ten is easily achievable, providing the wheels don't fall off. Anywhere from 9th to 16th is mid-table for me, but the higher we finish the better, and I think we're a lot better than 16th. Getting more from our midfield is key for me. Losing James needn't be a calamity, but we need Kane or Palmer to step up (or Styles if we can get him out of the LWB position). My son reckons Kane wants to play like a quarterback, and that's not what we need alongside Mowatt. I'd give Palmer a start on Tuesday. Get the midfield pairing right (and get the ball down on the ground a bit more often) and we'll see more service/link up for the forwards - and hopefully get back to winning ways.
